Great for everyday accidents
Pros
Great for clean-up of small stains
Cons
Turbo brush not that effective
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Good product at a reasonable price. The turbo brush does not add much to the unit, so the next lower model is a better value.
This little machine is great for the little accidents that befall your carpet between regular cleaning. There are a number of little green machines, this particular model adds heat to the cleaning solution, and a turbo brush. The turbo brush is a rotating scrub-brush incorporated into the vacuum head that automatically rotates. I had high hopes for the turbo brush, but in use, it didn't rotate with much vigor, and in the end, found that using a manual scrub brush with the standard vacuum head gave the best results.
The spray nozzle that distributes the cleaner on the spot is a wide angle spray, so you tend to overspray on smaller stains. A minor nit.
The vacuum unit really shines, and once the stain is wet and scrubbed, it does s supperb job of vacuuming up the water and grime.
The unit is easy to clean, simply run some clear water through the unit and you are ready to put it away.
It has solid construction of heavy plastic.
I like this unit, it works well both on carpet and upholstry. If I were to buy again, I'd probably get the next lower model number (The one without the turbo brush, but with the heat) as I don't think the turbo brush is all that effective and adds $10-$15 to the price.
All in all, a handy machine
