Bissell 3591 Bagless Upright Vacuum

The Bissell CleanView has an easy to empty container, and is very easy to clean out clogs in the hose. However, it works lousy on hard surfaces (wood, tile, laminate floors). There is no way to "shut off" the roller brush, so when you vacuum hard surfaces the power of the roller brush moves the dirt out the back of the vacuum. The only way to successfully vacuum hard floors with this vacuum is to use the hose, which takes a longer time if you have a large area to clean. When it runs, the belt sometimes slips off. It seems like it was cheaply made, which was probably to keep the price low. For carpets it does a decent job, and it is very good when using the hose attachment.
