It sucks well. But it also blows. And it stinks.

It really sucks up the dirt.

Frequency of emptying, cleaning filters, replacing belts

Major pro: it sucks up the dirt really well.
Major cons: 1. It blows it right back out if you don't empty the dirt canister and clean its three filters regularly.
2. It has a tendency to burn up its drive belt when you use attachments. I've gone through two already.
Minor pro: long cord
Minor cons: 1. brush attachment tends to clog with hair and carpet fibers and is hard to clean (if you have animals this would be a major con).
2. right-angle bend where hose attaches to body can clog.
