I sell these vacuums everyday. Sometimes you get what you pay for. This is a decent vac don't let me get your hopes down, but if you spend more you can get a lot more. The major problems with this design are as follows. It's handle is flimsy. The dust cup uses a single cyclonic filtration system, this will remove large dirt, but smaller dirt must be trapped by filters. Smaller dirt being trapped by foam filters does not pose well for emissions or motor life. These filters cannot filter fine enough to prevent fine dirt from entering the motor and exiting the exhaust. Eventually fine dust would burn the motor out. If you are sucking up only large dust this is fine but be prepared to wash the filters often to retain performance. Some of this CAN BE PREVENTED by placing a small piece of 3M's Filtrete material into the bottom pre motor filter tray. This would drastically improve the motor's lifespan. Other than that it is easy to use, strech hose for easy tool access. Decent suction. In its price range you could do worse, but I would look elsewhere.
