Unleashing My Inner Domestic Goddess With The Bissell Clean View Bagless Vacuum
Pros
It's bagless, doesn't take up a lot of space and it only cost $99
Cons
Too insignificant to mention here.

Yes
The Bottom Line:
Go get yourself one of those. A buttload of features and it looks good too.
Of all the household chores, vacuuming has got to be on the bottom of the list, right behind washing the dishes. I used to own another Bissell vacuum cleaner that although served me well wasn?t really what I wanted. I wanted to not have to change the bags and deal with all the dust and in addition to that, my old vacuum was rather bulky and since I live in what equates to a large cardboard box, space is always an issue.
I don?t like to have to put things together either. I want to take things out of the box, do the minimal amount of ?work? I can get away with and play with my toys. As luck would have it, it only took me about 5 minutes to but together my new vacuum and it only needed one teeny tiny screw that requires the use of a Phillips head screwdriver (yes, I know the difference between a Phillips and flathead thank you very much).
Although I?m sure that I?ll never use them the Bissell Clean View Bagless comes with several attachments. A hose, brush and an extender for the hose/brush for the hard to reach places are all included and they store nicely on the back of the vacuum. Since I?m not really into vacuuming the corners of the walls ? I?m not all that interested in the attachments, but that just might be your area of expertise.
Cool Tricks
Handle Positions - The handle on the Bissell Clean View adjusts to 3 positions (I?m not sure if that?s standard for all vacs). There?s upright to be used for storage and above floor cleaning with tools, there is normal which is what most people use it for and low cleaning for reaching under low furniture.
Power Height Adjustment - Sounds fancy eh? Not really, it?s just the setting for whatever you might happen to be cleaning. The user guide suggests that you use the lowest setting for bare floors, medium settings for short and medium pile carpets and the highest setting for plush pile carpet or shag if you still live in the past. (There are a total of 7 adjustments)
Thermal Protection - My vacuum is SO cool that if for some reason something were to get clogged in it and started to burn, the internal thermal protector would cause the vacuum to shut down.
NO MORE BAGS
Really, this is the one thing that sold me on this vacuum. It?s clear so I can see if I?m picking up anything strange and I get to see all the dirt that?s in my carpet and with 2 cats, I?m amazed at what I pick up. The bin that the dirt goes into slides out with the slide of a switch and can be cleaned with warm water and I haven?t had one single problem with it yet. There is a filter that needs to be replaced from time to time although the user guide doesn?t list specifics. In addition to me really wanting a bagless vacuum cleaner, being ever thrifty I didn?t want to spend a fortune on something I don?t use everyday, so after shopping around we got this for $99 at wal-mart.
The Bottom Line
For a standard 12-amp vacuum cleaner that?s bagless I really couldn?t ask for more. It works so well I?m buying one for a friend. I like that it?s moderately attractive also ? the colors are black and blue and of course clear for the dirt storage, I personally think it?s an attractive machine. If there were something to not like about this vacuum I would have to say it?s the location of the power button. I?m so used to being able to hit the button with my foot that leaning over to turn it on seems like a waste, but I know that?s laziness speaking. All in all I think for the price, quality and features this was a solid purchase.
