Bissell Technology #1 in my book (pocketbook)

Bissell does use a better technology.
Cons
Motor sound has a higher pitch, Killer bees?
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
The best bang for the buck in cleaning products.
I could not resist buying the Cleanview by Bissell after reading so many positive things about Bissell and its ability to produce a better vacuum dollar per dollar than any other leading vacuum manufacturer all over the web. I have upper end Hoovers combined with sharp, electrolux and more. I don't need another vacuum but could not resist giving the Bissell company a spin. It does appear to me as though Bissell does use a better technology upon building there vacs after all. Everything fits well together and tightly at that. The dust bowl and upper filter are not loose like on my $300.00 Hoover equipment. The hose is much better quality as well. All the accessories fit well and ergonomically well done. It is light weight and does seem to float on the surface as I have read on other testimonials, On thicker rug this feature does diminish but still easy to work with. The lay down feature of the handle when vacuuming is great too. Works great on bare floor and carpet alike. The dusting brush is adequate and better than some but I would like to see softer bristles on all dust brushes as the old electrolux's of years past that none of the modern vacs seem to offer these days. The ability to clean and pull dirt off the floor will surprise you. I have been running my sharp vacuum in which is no slouch in the office area for some time in which replaced the electolux and took it hands down on cleaning power and pulling dirt. The Bissell Cleanview pulled so much more I even hate to disclose how much, Its almost embarrassing. I am really glad I bought this vacuum and I can not express more that yes I do believe Bissell is utilizing a better technology in development on building their vacuums.
CONS: The motor sound has a higher pitch than other equipment I have used, not bad mind ya, but if your high stressed or have a killer bee hive near be careful.
The upper filter area above the dust bowl so far has been a dust raising experience to clean, however this could possibly be remedied by doing it in water as all the parts and filter are submersible.
Overall: This is the best bang for the buck in cleaning products that I have ever experienced. Has Bissell got my attention? You bet-yagh!!
