Bissell 37604 Bagless Upright Vacuum

Just bought this vacuum and I'm in love with it already. I have both hard surface floors and carpet in my home (frieze carpet). The stairs are carpeted in the frieze and I have 2 Himalayan cats. The small turbo brush and the removal canister are absolutely perfect for cleaning cat hair from the stairs. It works great on the furniture also. The dirt container and the filters are easy to remove and clean. I had just vacuumed my home 2 days ago with my old Sharp unit and I was amazed at the cat hair and dirt the Bissell got out of my carpet. The vacuum does a good job on hard surface floors, but I am used to cleaning them with a brush attachment. I plan to purchase the optional Deluxe Bare Floor attachment. The unit is just heavy enough to do a great job on carpets, but with the canister being removable, not too heavy to take upstairs (as 2 separate units).
