Amazing on Carpet!

Made my carpet look new and couldn't believe all it picked up!

Not much suction power without the wind of the rotating brush! Include a floor brush!

The Bottom Line:
I would recommend this vacuum if your like me and don't want to spend over $300 for a vacuum. It does the job well, should just include a floor brush!
I bought this vacuum a few days ago and was so impressed on the results I got on my carpet!! It made my large area rug look almost new again, and I couldn't believe the dirt that came off of it - didn't think my old vac was that bad but I guess so...!
Tried it on my hard wood floors and, ya, not so happy! I turned off the rotating brush so as to not scratch my floors and there is not a whole lot of suction without the wind from it. I called Bissell Canada (where I'm from) to see about purchasing a floor brush that would fit and the guy I talked to was not very helpful and made me feel pretty dumb like I didn't know what I was talking about, however it will cost me $50 for the attachment and shipping, so my handy husband maneuvered the old one to fit this vacuum and wow - very nice and powerful!
My only couple complaints is that the vacuum should come with the floor brush for bare floor, and it is kind of bulky and does not get the stuff against the wall very well. But I figure with the time I'm saving only having to go over an area once I can pull the hose out to go over the floor next to the wall/tv stand/couch etc
We are about to adopt a boxer dog who is a good shedder, I will add to this comment once I test it out on the hair!!
