Very Disappointing Low Quality Vacuum
Pros
None to speak of.
Cons
Low suction, cheap brittle plastic, poor filtration, cumbersome attachment hose.
Recommended it?
No
Prior to this vacuum, we owned a Dirt Devil, a total piece of junk. We heard a lot of positive things about the Bissell Carpet Cleaners, so we decided to try a Bissell vacuum.
We were disappointed from day-1. The construction is cheap plastic, the attachments are cheap plastic, the attachment hose is very short and cumbersome to work with.
The single most important feature you buy a vacuum for is its suction power, and this Bissell is severely lacking in my opinion.
This is the first vacuum we have ever owned that we did not even wait for it to break down before replacing it. We could not even sell it at a yard sale with a clear conscience, so we just took it to the dump after only owning it for less than two years.
