Ding Dong the pet hair is Gone!
Pros
Lift Off feature, good suction, superior pet hair removal
Cons
Nada
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
If you have pets and you want a clean home this is the vacuum for you.
The top complaints for this vacuum are not valid in my opinion. So I am here to nay-say the nay-sayers!
The hose is too short-
My answer to that is they must not be using the lift off feature! After I do my carpets and hard wood floors, I "lift off" and do all the dustable surfaces, curtains, window sills, and furniture. Plus the shorter the hose, the less distance the air has to travel, the better suction you get from the machine.
Too heavy-
I have tried 5 or 6 different lightweight vacuums in the past and that is just what they are LIGHTWEIGHT! This machine has a little heft but it cleans like an industrial vacuum!
Pet Paw doesn't have enough suction-
You are using it wrong then. The Pet Paw is designed for removing pet hair. If you are picking up a dirty mess then use the other attachments. The Pet Paw works like a miracle. I vacuumed my carpets with my 2 year old Dirt Devil and then vacuumed with the bissell right after and I could not believe the pet hair that came up! Especially on my stair treads and risers. Huge plus is that it cleans the outside corners of the steps like a dream!
Too much maintenance-
This is just my opinion, but when did we all get so lazy! Everything has to be on an express route, through the drive through, on a paper plate, or to the dishwasher. You have to change the filters in your home ventilation system, you have to wash dishes between uses, and realistically you have to maintain something that sees as much dirt as say a VACUUM! I am surprised that more vacuum companies don't stress the importance of maintenance. It says right in the owners manual that with the advanced HEPA filtration you have to do routine cleaning and checking of the filters. It makes sense seeing as it is being trapped and not pushed back out in to the air you breathe that the carpets you just vacuumed.
