Pros Bagless, picks up pet hair, removable canister, beautiful red color, and price is right!
Cons Small collector, no automatic retracting cord, cord set too low.
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this vacuum from Amazon.com for $179.99 and there was a special promotional coupon for $25 off the purchase. All together I paid $176.50 for it including shipping.

I bought this vacuum because we have a very furry shetland sheepdog who sheds constantly and leaves wads of fur... Read full review »

Liked it better than the Dyson

bymarketingmad Feb 12, 2005

Pros Great suction. Easy to use hose. The lift off canister is a real plus.
Cons Wish there was a spot for the bare floor attachment.
Recommended it? Yes

This one's a keeper. I originally bought the yellow Dyson, and returned it for this model. Suction is very good - I think better than the Dyson. I noticed with the Dyson that I would sometimes have to vacuum over an area 4-5 times before it vacuumed up the debris. I didn't experience that with this... Read full review »

Good Idea - Poor Execution

byrodney52 Feb 3, 2007

Pros Lift-off unit. Suction when not clogged.
Cons Easily clogs, cheap plastic, short hose, messy emptying and filter cleanup.
Recommended it? No

I have owned this vacuum for about 2.5 years and that is about the useful life of it. At first I was impressed with its power and liked the lift off unit. However, after using it for about a year the cheap plastic started to break. It also clogs very easily and you have to take everything apart and... Read full review »

Best Vacuum In Town, and Affordable!

Pros designed very well, doesn't lose suction, easy to empty canister
Cons I would have liked a softer brush attachment for dusting wood that can scratch.
Recommended it? Yes

This vacuum is awesome! I've owned a Rainbow and Hoover (standard bag) in the past and both were great vacuums, very well designed. So it came time to get a new vacuum and I chose to get the Hoover bag less, we got it from Costco for about $230. From the start it was awful; it always lost suction... Read full review »

Pros Easy to empty dirt chamber, turbo brush, telescoping wand, detachable canister
Cons The long cord: it isn't self-winding (only thing I miss about my old cannister...
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this vacuum after a week of research of various vacuums in various shops. I have now used it for 3 weeks.

Bissell, by far, has the easiest & least messy to empty bagless that I could find. It has a convenient separate switch to turn off the beater brush; so you can go from low... Read full review »

Pros Powerful suction, long cord, good filtration, easy empty dirt cup
Cons I still have to push it.
Recommended it? Yes

If you can find one of these, buy it. I'd done my homework and picked out another model from Sears but it was out of stock. Thought I'd check out Biglots and found the Bissell 3750 Lift Off Bagless Upright for about $100. The features sounded pretty good so I took a chance. Great decision. It's... Read full review »

Pros amazing suction power, easy cleaning of canister
Cons Vacuum is heavy. Turbo Brush is hard to clean
Recommended it? Yes

And I am so glad!! I have two cats and my old vacuum didn't suck at all. :) The amount of cat hair that I pull out of my carpet each time is amazing. I look at it in horror and triumph as I empty the canister each time. It picks up allllll the pet hair. Even those downy hairs that act like velcro... Read full review »

Pros Easy to push, in spite of the weight. Sucks up EVERYTHING. It's Puuurty...
Cons None that I know of yet. If this changes, I'll report it.
Recommended it? Yes

I chose this vacuum cleaner because of the consistent reviews that it got at epinions, because we are getting ready to move into a house with carpets (our home currently only has ceramic tiled floors). We went with a factory serviced model from ABC Vacuum because of the price ($99 and free... Read full review »

Bissell lift off 2 in 1 not worth the money

Pros It?s red and like having 2 vaccums in one
Cons hose on canister is too short
Recommended it? No

The Bissell-lift off is like having 2 vacuums in one that is the reason I bought it,
The hose on the canister is too short, the cord gets caught on everything it's too long.
The filter falls into the dirt cup and you have to stick something in there to hold it up to remove the dirt cup,... Read full review »

Excellent carpet, awful bare floor

Pros Exceptional rug cleaning, smart attachments.
Cons Absolutely, positively, excessively terrible on bare floors (picked up NOTHING).
Recommended it? No

After our old reliable Eureka (going on 30) canister's engine finally gave up its ghost (which was sudden and recent, no problems at all in 30 years!) we did some comparison shopping and were attracted to the Bissell. Since it was on sale that day, we decided to get it.

Brought it home,... Read full review »
