Liked it better than the Dyson
This one's a keeper. I originally bought the yellow Dyson, and returned it for this model. Suction is very good - I think better than the Dyson. Good Idea - Poor Execution

Best Vacuum In Town, and Affordable!
This vacuum is awesome! I've owned a Rainbow and Hoover (standard bag) in the past and both were great vacuums, very well designed. Boy, this vacuum sucks!
And I am so glad!! I have two cats and my old vacuum didn't suck at all. :) The amount of cat hair that I pull out of my carpet each time is amazing. Bissell lift off 2 in 1 not worth the money
The Bissell-lift off is like having 2 vacuums in one that is the reason I bought it,
The hose on the canister is too short, the cord gets caught on everything it's too long.

Excellent carpet, awful bare floor
After our old reliable Eureka (going on 30) canister's engine finally gave up its ghost (which was sudden and recent, no problems at all in 30 years!) we did some comparison shopping and were attracted to the Bissell. Since it was on sale that day, we decided to get it.
