Liked it better than the Dyson
Pros
Great suction. Easy to use hose. The lift off canister is a real plus.
Cons
Wish there was a spot for the bare floor attachment.

The Bottom Line:
Glad I returned the Dyson and got the Bissell Lift Off Bagless vacuum.
This one's a keeper. I originally bought the yellow Dyson, and returned it for this model. Suction is very good - I think better than the Dyson. I noticed with the Dyson that I would sometimes have to vacuum over an area 4-5 times before it vacuumed up the debris. I didn't experience that with this Bissell, and if it ever does happen, at least I've paid much less than the Dyson.
When the Power Brush is on, it feels like it wants to take off on its own. The only draw back to that is, it takes some effort to pull the vacuum back.
The attachment hose works better than the Dyson. It's more flexible and I didn't feel like I was fighting with the hose. When using the hose with the Dyson turned on, the hose was tough to stretch, and I notice I had to keep the hose at a certain angle in order to get suction power.
The vacuum is heavy, but I manage O.K. for a petite woman.
I've read that some folks feel the lift off compartment is heavy, but I really didn't find it heavy. However, if a strap is being used, I could see where the lift off compartment would be too heavy for the shoulder. I find the lift off compartment particularly helpful with steps.
The vacuum canister does fill up quickly, and I figure that I'll have to empty it every time I vacuum all my carpets, but that's really no big deal for me.
The attachments fit real nice on the vacuum, but I wish there was a spot for the bare floor attachment.
