Bissell 3750 Bagless Upright Vacuum

If you can find one of these, buy it. I'd done my homework and picked out another model from Sears but it was out of stock. Thought I'd check out Biglots and found the Bissell 3750 Lift Off Bagless Upright for about $100. The features sounded pretty good so I took a chance. Great decision. It's about a year later, when most of my vacuum choices are ready to toss, this one's going strong. The long cord means I can plug it in once and vacuum most of the house. Didn't think I'd use the lift off feature but find it comes in handy for small quick pick ups or taking it outside to clean the car. The "clean filter" feature tells me when there's a clog as well as when to clean the filters. Haven't had to replace any yet, two are designed to be cleanable and the third cleans pretty well too. There were extra filters included with the vacuum. Along with the regular attachments, a permanently attached hose (easily detached if there's a clog) and the bagless dirt cup (easy to dump and replace) this vacuum does a terrific job on my carpet even though we've pets who shed a lot. A great product.
