Best Vacuum In Town, and Affordable!
Pros
designed very well, doesn't lose suction, easy to empty canister
Cons
I would have liked a softer brush attachment for dusting wood that can scratch.

The Bottom Line:
Buy it!
This vacuum is awesome! I've owned a Rainbow and Hoover (standard bag) in the past and both were great vacuums, very well designed. So it came time to get a new vacuum and I chose to get the Hoover bag less, we got it from Costco for about $230. From the start it was awful; it always lost suction within two vacuums. And the canister was so large and hard to empty you never wanted to do so. After two years of owning that and realizing that other vacuum makers were actually designing bag less systems that work; I decided to return it to Costco (it's amazing they returned it). I was really disappointed that the engineers at Hoover couldn't design something better.
So some friends got the Bissell and I noticed at their house how well it worked. I've also owned a Big Clean Machine in the past that worked great and a Bissell up-right shampooer that's also engineered great. I bought the Costco version of this vacuum cleaner; it only cost $169 with a instant rebate of $10 so the total was $159.
All I can say is awesome! It's designed so nice and it' not made out of cheap plastic like those expensive Dyson's. The suction is great; it doesn't lose suction because the dust and particles fall to the bottom of the canister. It's extremely easy to empty the canister because they made it small and easy to remove and carry to dump into your trash. The main filter has an indicator when to clean that. And of course it comes with a "hepa" filter and one extra. The tools are also designed very well, the hose was made so that when you use it the vacuum won't tip over (which is what that Hoover did all the time).
