Pros Flexibility, effectiveness, cost
Cons Doesn't come with someone to use it. Cord wrap has no quick release.
Recommended it? Yes

Yes it does feel light and flimsy, but the detachable main motor/vacumm feels quite sturdy.  The waste cup was a little difficult to remove, but after a couple of uses it became quite easy.  I've used it only a few short times and was suprised how much dirt was in the wasre cup. ... I have been searching both online and in stores for a hand vacuum that is not battery operated.  Every battery operated hand vacuum I came across was heavy and I knew my weak wrists would not tolerate the weight for very long and not much vacuuming would get done!

Pros Lightweight, great suction, durable
Cons Very small
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this vaccuum last night at Wal Mart for Black Friday. Gave it a test run through my studio apartment this morning. Lots of suction for such a small vacuum and very light weight.

I am much more satisfied with this product than I thought I would be and recommend it. It seems to be... Read full review »

Why Did I Buy This Dinky Looking Thing and How Do I Like It?

A person can only do without a vacuum for a limited time. At least that's true for me. My trusty Eureka upright bit the dust after 20 years of service. Poor thing choked on the stray kitty litter that my cat manages to pitch... Read full review »

Pros Easy to Use, Lightweight

Lightweight and portable. That's why I bought this for college dorm. I use this to clean out the dust at my room. It's not easy to control. It felt down many times before I can complete the cleaning. overall, it's a good product for a small little room!   Read full review »

Not so good for cleaning

bypchelka78 May 1, 2009

Pros Lightweight, good for very small feather light spills, better stick with your dustbaster...
Cons does not clean well, takes a while to pick up mess
Recommended it? No

I should start my posting by stating that I have been cleaning for a while I was at school. So this is my professional opinion. Bissell is very light product and this is where pros end. This product will only work on light things like pet hair but not cat litter. You actually have to go over the... Read full review »

Pros Lightweight, convenient, easy-to-use, cheap
Cons Not as powerful as a regular vac, somewhat tedious to clean
Recommended it? Yes

I picked up the Bissell 3106 for about $30 with no research because it was on sale. I wanted a small, easy-to-use vacuum for everyday use. I've had it for about 8 months now and for the price, I haven't been too disappointed.
The Bissell 3106 is an upright vacuum and is very lightweight. It... Read full review »

Great! 2x's a day use cleans up after 16 cats!

Pros Strong pick up, reusable/washable filters, manages pet cleanup VERY well.
Cons Floor attachment wheels give out in about 15 mos. after extreemly heavy, twice daily use.
Recommended it? Yes

This little vacuum is the answer to my needs.  I have to vacuum cat hair, tracked clay and clumping litter from my tile floors twice a day and this vacuum keeps going strong for at least a year.  I've never had the motor break down, but the floor attachment wheels break and that's what ends the... Quick clean up for kitchen, etc

Pros Easy to assemble, cleans great, lightweight.
Cons Haven't found any yet.

Purchased this about 10 days ago. Received it. After opening box I assembled it.  On the body of the vacuum there is a lever that you pull down.  Insert the handle into the hole, lift the lever back in place. That holds the handle in.  Next you have to attach the vacuum foot.  On the front is a... Read full review »

This is a terrific little vacuum. It is lightweight and very easy to use. The edger makes it easy to get into corners. The floor attachment keeps wood floors from getting scratched.

I bought this so that I can clean up small messes and dog hair quickly. My other vacuum is a professional... Read full review »

So far so good. I really like this little Upright Vacuum because it is nice and light weight. I have had it now for a week and use it daily. We have cats and 1 dog in the house. And, we live –out in the country- . At best trying to keep the floor reasonably tidy is difficult.

Great little vacuum

Pros Easy to use with great suction and versatility.
Cons None

I bought this vacuum for my tile floors in the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room. I bought mainly for the kitchen though because I have two children one of which cannot seem to keep any meal off the floor. I was skeptical at first because every small stick vacuum I have ever used has horrible... Read full review »

Light enough to use everyday

Cons Short cord doesn't reach across a room. Can't fit under all the furniture.

We've had this vac for just a month so I can't speak to durability. Picks up cat hair well. Comes apart easily to reach in small places. Unlike another comment, I find it does pick up rice and other things of that size. You just have to approach from the front. Otherwise the brush on the head... Read full review »

You get what you pay for.

bylisah25 Dec 5, 2007
9 Helpfuls 10 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Inexpensive, does a good job with quick cleaning
Cons Not a replacement for a regular vac, short cord, messy dirt cup.
Recommended it? Yes

The main thing to keep in mind is that this is a $20.00 vac. Not a lot of money, and a brand-name no less. So, I didn't have really lofty expectations for this. I wanted something quick and easy for day-to-day clean ups between really vacuuming.

This was easy to find, I got mine at... Read full review »

I'm not impressed

bygerilynw Sep 15, 2007
6 Helpfuls 7 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Crevice Tool attachment is useful on a hand vacuum
Cons Inferior floor vacuum; No storage for accessories not in use; Cord limits usefulness
Recommended it? No

I received this as a gift from my kids, and I'm donating it to charity. This "3-in-1" product really falls short.

The Floor Nozzle attachment intake is limited in size to the Hand-Vacuum nose: I see no evidence that the wider Floor Nozzle channels dirt into the center. Lint and hair get... Read full review »

A Kirby it's not, but that's not all bad

Pros Reasonable performance. Versatile. Inexpensive.
Cons Just the usual bagless vac annoyances.

How did something as simple as choosing a vacuum cleaner get so complicated? Bagged, bagless, upright, canister, stick…on and on the choices go.

I have a traditional Hoover upright which, although getting along in years, works okay on the dwindling number of carpeted areas in my small... Read full review »

Great value!

Pros cost, size of dust cup, good suction, lightweight, corded, good for pet hair cleanup
Cons Could use a bumper, longer cord would be a plus, messy dust cup
Recommended it? Yes

I did a TON of research before buying a new stick vac after my beloved Eureka finally kicked the bucket. The only problem was that every review I read about every stick vac had equal numbers of pros and cons. So I decided I would just start trying them out until I found one that I liked, and return... Go ahead & spend the extra $20

bycyber-kaya Mar 24, 2007
1 Helpfuls 2 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Small, lightweight, easy to use.
Cons Corded, cheaply made & designed, dirt falls out, small dirt capacity.
Recommended it? No

I liked this product at first, but after having it awhile I am realizing how cheap it is. It has good suction and was great for a quick pick-up or even vacuuming the kitchen floor, but the flap that hold the dirt inside is extremely flimsy & doesn't stay in place. If you bump it or it shakes, even... Read full review »

I like it

3 Helpfuls 4 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros the cost, lightweight, compact, bagless
Cons Not for heavy duty carpeting
Recommended it? Yes

Reading these reviews you would think this was the worse household device on the market, and it is not. I got this vacuum late 2005. I already own a heavy duty Eureka and a hand-held Shark Vac (see review) so actually I didn't need the Bagless Bissell. But I found uses for it.
