Pros Cost, Good Graphics, Good Stage Selection
Cons Harder to Balance on Grinds Than Tony Hawk (which may be a pro for some)
Recommended it? Yes

When I get bored, I like to drag out my Playstation and get lost in a game. For a long time my favorite game was Tony Hawk II skateboarding game. My roommate recently purchased a new game similar to Tony Hawk II but it is a BMX bicycle racing game. Dave Mirra?s BMX was the game that he bought... Read full review »

Pros Lots of secrets to unlock, and cool music!
Cons The 1 player mode gets boring fast.
Recommended it? Yes

Dave Mirra BMX for Playstation was the first biking game I ever played. So when I first played it at my friends house, I though this seemed alot like the popular skateboarding game; Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. It plays exactly like Tony Hawk and their is no difference. Though it's a lot like Tony Hawk,... Read full review »

Dave Mirra freestyle BMX is an excellent game. It quickley became one of my favorites and still is. With ten of the top pro riders and tons of levels and insane combos it doesn't get old.

The Game when you start has 10 charecters. Daven "The miricale man" Mirra, Ryan Nyquist, Joey Garcia,... Read full review »

Pros This game is fast-paced and entertaining.
Cons I don't have a PS2 yet (sigh).

If you, like most young adults in the world, own a Playstation or Playstation One gaming console, then you simply must NOT pass up Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX! I found a copy for twenty dollars (U.S.) at an Army Post Exchange store in August. Even with that discounted price, the prices of all PS and... Read full review »

Pros Great replay value and concept; easy to master tricks; many gamemodes leave you playing...
Cons hmm....ummm....I guess no sequel?
Recommended it? Yes

Without a doubt in my mind, Dave Mirra BMX has great replay value running through it's veins. The fact is, if you played Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 or 2 often, you will most likely play this one often as well. I'll explain why I think its that damn good.

Games that involve hands on sports (I... Read full review »

Pros Good game
Cons Can get boring

No, these are not bad babits, things you do with your teeth and moves made by footballers respectively, but moves you can make in Dave Mirra's Freestyle BMX.

During the early 80's, BMX's were THE cool bike to have. You could perform tricks and stunts on them due to their size and... Read full review »

Pros Finally a game with two wheels instead of four
Cons occasional slow downs, odd grind system, and no Mat Hoffman
Recommended it? Yes

I bought Dave Mirra's Freestyle BMX because I myself ride bmx and I have been waiting for a while for a good bmx game, and let me tell you this game was worth almost every penny.

First with the good, can you say tricks galore? There is a sick amount of combos you can bust in the air and... Read full review »
