My Personal Experience with this product:
Nothing sounds better than a warm cinnamon streusel muffin on a cold morning! My daughter wanted me to buy some muffins for breakfast, she likes them as much as I do. I went to Walmart and searched through the muffin products to find something we hadn't tried before. The Betty Crocker Cinnamon Streusel Premium Muffin and Quick Bread Mix caught my eye. The box has a tantalizing picture of two cinnamon muffins with melting butter spread on them. They also had streusel sprinkled on top of them that looked soooo good to me. I purchased this product for $3.39 at Walmart. I'm sure prices vary at different stores/locations. Anyway, the product taste was just as good as it looked on the box. My daughter and I were very satisfied and I will purchase this product again. A word to describe this product is yummy!
Product Information:
The Cinnamon Streusel mix is from Betty Crocker. Net WT 15.2 OZ
(430g). On the front of the box it advertises that it is great for quick bread, and there is a recipe on the back. (Which I am going to try and share for neighbor Christmas gifts.) Also, on the front it indicates there is a pouch of cinnamon streusel. Servings per container is 12 muffins at 210 calories per muffin.
The back of the box has an allergy note that this product contains wheat and milk ingredients. Directions are simple: Mix 3/4 cup milk, 1/4 cup vegetable oil, and 2 eggs with the muffin mix. Bake at 425 degrees for 16 to 21 minutes. There is also a handy tip to use an ice cream scoop to fill muffin cups with batter. I found the tip useful, I didn't have messy drops of batter on my counter like I normally do.
What I like/dislike about this product:
What really matters to me when choosing food is the taste. I really liked the taste of the cinnamon streusel muffins. I liked the bits of cinamon sprinkled throughout and the streusel on top. I like that this product has a recipe for quick bread and also for a low-fat muffin. I like that there was a box top for education on the box. Betty Crocker supports education and will give money to our local school.
I cannot think of anything I disliked about this product. Well, the only thing I didn't like was that I had to practice self control so I wouldn't eat the whole batch.
Overall opinion:
Overall this product was very satisfying. I would recommend it to anyone who bakes or cooks. You will not be disappointed.
