Berkel X13E 13" Manual Gravity Feed Slicer, Each
Berkel's "Professional" Slicer is a manual gravity feed slicer that offers a number of special features. A sanitary one-piece engineered polymer base and product table reduces seams and joints while providing an NSF-approved surface for easy, effective cleaning. The slicer has a 13" dia. hollow ground, hardened and polished, forged stainless steel knife. A removable and submersible table mounted sharpener with two Borazon stones for accurate sharpening. Borazon stones are used for fast, accurate sharpening and extended life. The product table has a full gravity feed 45° angle with articulating rear mounted pusher that runs the entire length of the table to secure product for increased yield and consistency in every slice.Completely mechanical interlock for reliably securing the gauge plate during cleaning. Precise thickness control is achieved using a variable pitch barrel cam for ultra fine, wafer-thin slices to thick 1-5/16" slices. The index knob and operating controls are mounted outside of the drip zone for quick and easy access. Articulating and full length rear mounted meat pusher has a fence for extra help on holding of smaller products. A permanent ring guard protects the entire non-slicing portion of the knife during slicing and cleaning. A simple kick stand supposed the slicer for easy access to clean under the slicer. This top-of-the-line manual slicer, the Berkel X13E, has a number of special features. A sanitary, one piece engineered polymer base and product table reduces seams and joints while providing an FDA approved surface for easy, effective cleaning. Precise thickness control is achieved using a variable pitch barrel cam for fine adjustment and wafer thing slices. The Berkel X13E index knob and operating controls are mounted outside of the drip zone for quick and easy access. The Berkel X13E features a super- precise, 13" diameter, hollow ground, hardened and polished steel knife. The Berkel X13E has an ergonomic, multi-grip handle on the articulating, full-length, rear mounted meat pusher, which ensures even slices. A one piece, no-slip FDA polymer base prevents the slicer from moving around while cutting. A permanent ring guard protects the entire non-slicing portion of the knife during slicing and cleaning. A simple kick stand supports the slicer for easy access to clean under the slicer. The Berkel X13E is capable of cutting rectangles up to 10 1/2" x 6 3/4", squares up to 7 1/2" and rounds up to 8 1/2", and depositing them onto the extra-capacity product table. This knife is powered by a one-speed, 1/2 horsepower, permanently lubricated ball bearing motor, and comes with borazon sharpening stones. A fence is provided for holding small products. This slicer is made to be used for 5 to 8 hours per day. ETL listed and NSF certified. The Berkel X13E is 28" wide by 29" deep by 25" high.
