For small jobs, it works great. If you're looking for more of a utility unit, save your money. This doesn't hold up to bigger jobs.
This blender is like a new toy- fun to play with for a few minutes, but loses it's appeal fast. The blender is great to whip up small batches of sauces or beverages but, with all the extra parts and pieces, becomes a storage nuisance quickly. If you're looking for a small utility item to bring to the work kitchen, this may do the trick. Just don't plan on making it work too hard. For an office kitchen, the item is small enough to fit on a utility counter, and sleek enough to be able to be left out. I have more of a problem with the irregularly shaped pieces.
This item was purchased with the intention of using it to whip up morning smoothies and, for that, it works just fine. When I tried to make a vegetable puree, however, it struggles and doesn't perform at all as expected.
There are too many pieces to store in a way that makes sense, and they do not nest, so plan on using a lot of valuable cabinet space for this piece.
Although many pieces are dishwasher safe, there are just too many pieces to take apart and reassemble for each use.
Blades do not clean easily.
