Beginning Rhythm Piano Volume 2
Failure rates have been high in the past for beginners due to the confusion caused by reading & playing at the same time. Reading is good if you have the patience & want to take the time, but don give up your dream just because you prefer not to read. This is truly the "FUN APPROACH" to learning how to play piano or keyboard. We actually designed it for people who are afraid of the piano. â??There are so many people who would really like to have this wonderful skill, but they e either afraid they couldn get it or afraid it would be too tedious. We successfully solved this problem by simply presenting it in the easiest, most logical & intriguing manner. Volume Two: takes up where volume one left off with songs with more chords, new types of chords, boogie woogie blues stylings, songs with minor chords, more advanced rhythm patterns, new keys, more advanced theory concepts & some really fun surprises. It will take you to the next logical level! Includes: Cuckoo Bird, Duke of Earl, Heart & Soul, Dream, This Boy, Stay a Little Longer, Jingle Bells, House of the Rising Sun, My Bonnie, Sloop John B, & how to add more details to the songs from volume one. 1. What exactly is "Rhythm Piano"? Answer: "Rhythm Piano" is the way the piano is played when you e singing a song. Its not a self contained solo piano piece, but rather the way people play when they accompany themselves singing. 2. Do you need to learn "regular Piano" before you start "rhythm piano"? Answer: No. In fact its better to start on rhythm first, similar to the way guitar is approached. This course is for the total beginner, or for the reading piano player who wants to learn to play by ear, or for someone who plays another instrument who wants to add piano as a second instrument. 3. Do I have to learn to read music? Answer: No. Learning to read is great, but quite time consuming & tedious. This series does not teach sight reading. This is the easiest way to learn piano, because its designed with the concept that a human can only truly think of one thing at a time. Thinking about reading & playing at the same time is confusing. 4. Will it hurt me if I want to learn to read later? Answer: Absolutely not. This video series is musically correct according to college music theory. It simply allows you to concentrate on developing the ability to play first. You can take up reading anytime you choose. 5. Will I regret not learning to read standard music notation? Answer: No. Most piano & keyboard players in the popular or "informal" styles of music, don read, or even know how to read. 6. Is it good for keyboard as well as piano too? Answer: Yes, absolutely. The notes are the same & the music comes out the same. This instructional series is perfect for todays electronic keyboards. In fact, this video is taught on an electronic keyboard & occasionally uses the "organ" mode to illustrate some of the points. 7. Is it ok for kids? Answer: Yes! It is designed for all ages!
