Best Friends in Life
I love Bet Midler and Barbara Hershey. Together they delivered outstanding performances. I read the book a few years ago and couldn't put it down then. The movie put actual faces to the characters that replaced my own visions of the characters when I read the book.

I read a quotation once that stated "Some people come into your life and quickly go. Some people come into your life and leave footprints on your heart, and you are never the same". That is my impression of this movie.
