Pros nice graphics, fun game play
Cons could have let you explore Gotham more
Recommended it? Yes

Most games taken from a movie or TV show don?t turn out very well(with one exception of Tarzan Untamed which was really cool). The Joker Returns for the Nintendo 64 was the worst game I had ever layed eyes on, and was the worst game to come the N64?s way(SuperMan64 was also one of the worst,... Read full review »

"Ever since Batman made his big return in cartoons, his popularity has increased dramatically. One of my favorite characters, next to Spidey, I ignored the initial release of Vengeance. After a week of play, I now see why I didn't make the initial purchase."

Batman Vengeance for the Nintendo GameCube is based on the cartoon series, "Batman: The Animated Series". You assume the roll of The Dark Knight himself, Batman. The game starts out with Batman searching for a missing child. But through Batman's search to find the child, he learns that the mother... Read full review »

I admit it, I'm a hardcore Batman fan.

I loved the animated series and have missed it ever since it was canceled. This game however came as a complete surprise to me. I had not heard that it was being produced and was very happy to find it on the shelves at Best Buy.

Fans of the 1990's Batman cartoons rejoice! Batman: Vengeance will intrigue you for hours of gameplay.

The first thing you notice right away when starting up this game, is that UbiSoft, the creators, have done their homework. Every detail of the Batman cartoons -- his cap flapping in the... Read full review »

I have been a fan of Batman for a long time. I became hooked starting with the animated Batman cartoons. Why don't they ever show the Batman Beyond cartoon series? The first two Batman movies were great when Batman faced off against the Joker and the Penguin. Batman's cool car, outfit, bat plane,... Read full review »

Pros Smooth Graphics, Stays true to Cartoon, Entertaining
Cons Too short, Little replay value

The Batman franchise has been used in games as early as The NES, and almost all have failed to capture the true essence of Batman and combine that with an interesting plot and adventure. Batman: Vengeance sets out to accomplish just that...and comes up short.

The game is set in the heart... Read full review »

(Note: As was the case with ChromeKiller, I'm actually reviewing the PS2 version here, as there is not a separate listing for it. As far as I know, the game is the same across the platforms.)

After reading a few very positive reviews of Batman: Vengeance, and seeing some screen shots and... Read full review »

Now, when reading reviews about Batman Vengeance you'll hear this allot, but I'm going to say it anyway. Most video games based off of Shows or movies tend to turn out horrible(look at previous Batman games for examples),but this one seems to shine pretty bright, and be a good incarnation of it's... I bought this game for my son, but to be honest, I play it much more than he does. I don't really play many video games at all, but this one has me hooked.
