Cruel and unusual punishment.
I'm not quite sure where to begin with this game. I guess I'll start with the good since it will be very short.
First...well I like batman beyond the cartoon. It's nicely done and interesting. Batman Beyond the game....well it's a different story. Hmm that's not really anything good huh?...

Based on the direct-to-video release of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, this eponymous title is quite simply one of the worst superhero video games ever made--which means, considering how awful entries in this genre tend to be, that it's pretty darn bad. Contrary to the futuristic theme of the Batman Beyond cartoon series, this pathetic effort is hopelessly dated in terms of gameplay--which is of the side-scrolling brawler variety--as well as graphics and sound, both of which would have been barely passable on the last generation of video game systems.
