My wife buys this one for me at the local bookstore. I am a outdoorsman that loves to fish. I use to fish our local bayous and waterways every weekend before I became disabled. My wife would also accompany me on many of my outings.
Bassmasters magazine is great in the fact that the whole magazine is strictly about fishing. Every issue is packed with tips on how to use baits, scents, and lures. The magazine also has professional bass fishermen that gives up to date tips on how to land a lunker.
The articles are informative and the information can be used in this area. The equipment advertised in Bassmasters is useful although kind of pricey to say the least. The best tip that I ever got out of this magazine was a tip to buy a bottle of garlic scent fish attractant.
My wife and I attended a Bassmasters Classic and I purchased a bottle.Sure enough the following fishing trip,I landed a 5 lb bass within ten casts. That was not my first bass that i ever caught, but for sure the easiest. So I do know first handed that the products Bassmasters promotes and sells does work. Also works with the kids,my 6 year old was able to land a little bass using this garlic fish attractant.
I recommend this magazine to any bass fisherman no matter how much experience is had. This is an excellent magazine with reputable companies and interesting articles.
