Bass Fishing for Dreamcast

I was over at a friends office when I had the chance to play this game, and was immediately hooked :). I am not usually interested in simple games like this but the time Sega spent on getting a balance of graphics and game play obviously paid off. My friend told that they just go buy some beer, sit back and play this game for hours.

What makes it so fun?
The joystick-reel that you use is as realistic casting as you are going to get on a console. You actually have to do the motion of casting in order for your player to cast. It's easy to do. The first time I played I think I got an 18 pound bass...really easy.

Fishing
When you hook a fish, the game instructs you to either pull left or right and has a power bar showing your line. It requires a little practice, but is simple enough that it works for any age.

The Fishing Hole's
While it didn't seem like there were a whole lot places you could choose to fish at, the experience of fishing is too cool. You can see underwater via your lure so you can pull on the line to jerk the lure.

Overall
I have never been a fan of fishing games but I have been converted. This game will be the one that all other games are compared to.
