not bad, not good
I've played high heat a few times. I actually bought it a while back. It was hyped up quite a bit with Sammy doing those stupid commercials. I love Sammy but those commercials were ridiculous! This Game Needs To Be Beat Down With An Ugly Stick!
For the life of me, I simply don't understand the appeal of this game series at all. If data nerds like all the stat numbers to add up in a baseball game, then I suggest they play with dice, pen and paper. It's sooooooooo real!
It is, as Sammy put it well in the summer's commercial, "soooo real!" I've played this game more than any other single game in the past seven months. The replay value remains the same. High Heat 2001
If you're a die-hard baseball fan, then this is the game for you. HH2001 is the most realistic baseball game on the market. This game is so GOOOOOOD!
This is the best baseball game franchise on any platform, period. I bought last years version and loved it. This year's is even better.
The options are unlimited. You can play single-season, franchise, playoffs, exhibition, home run derby, over the 'net, and the new batting practice.
