This is a great brush because it applies nicely and evenly to hide imperfections in smaller areas
If you buy a lot of Bare Escentual kits (like I do) then you probably get a lot of makeup brushes. I have so many that I'm not even sure what many of them do. This is not the case with the brand's Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush. It is one of the best in the BE arsenal, and also one of the most useful.
The brush is small and flat with a tapered head with light colored bristles that are stronger than those you might find on an all over face brush. I use the brush every morning when I put on my makeup to conceal some of the redness my skin shows from mild Rosecea as well as the unevenness that comes with my pale complexion. I dip the brush into just my normal foundation (I've found that I don't even need a separate concealer when using this brush), swirl, tap and then cover the problem areas completely, swiping the brush back and forth. I then use a larger brush to apply foundation and then add additional makeup to cover any remaining blemishes and redness using the concealer brush. The size and concentration of the bristles really make this an ideal brush for applying the makeup that really counts in the morning: the stuff that hides all the blaring imperfections from the world!
The brush washes out easily (I just use baby shampoo to clean it and all my other brushes and then air dry) and has lasted now for about two years without a foreseeable need to repurchase any time too soon. I have had experience with many of my BE brushes losing bristles and breaking quickly, but this has not been the case with this product at all.
