Pros Good acting, good direction
Cons Bad script

May I start this review by stating that I did not like this movie very much? I think it was better than Back To The Future II. That isn't saying a whole lot, but then neither II nor III hit my idea of what a Sci Fi movie ought to be. Back to the Future did. I sort of wish they would have let it... Read full review »

Robert Zemeckis? Back to the Future Part III -3rd is the charm w/o

Pros Lloyd, Steenburgeon and those old western character actor dudes
Cons impossible (who cares?) -the less energetic Michael J Fox.
Recommended it? Yes

As the third movie in a trilogy, this particular movie had a lot to live up to. Although I personally detested the second of the series, I have a special fondness for this one. And I can't justify it by any well thought out argument, only tell you what I like and why that is more important than the... Read full review »

Back to the Future, Part III — The Old West is Just a Science Experiment

Pros It ends the trilogy; still entertaining
Cons Too repetitious

If it ain't broke, don't fix it, unless of course it means repairing the time traveling De Lorean to get back to the year 1985. The formula worked for the original Back to the Future in 1985 and the it's applied again to the 1990 Back to the Future, Part III, the final installment to this trilogy,... Read full review »

Back to the Future 3 - the third and, presumably, last film in the Back to the Future series (though there has been some talk of doing a fourth film) is a very enjoyable finale to the trilogy, and stands up much better as a film in its own right than the second instalment. After the first film –... Read full review »

So here it is. The final part of the Back to the Future Trilogy- arguably the best thing that 80's cinema ever gave us, alongside Raging Bull , The Terminator , Blade Runner, Once Upon a Time in America and either of Jean-Jacques Beineix's films.

The first Back to the Future film had... Read full review »

Pros More humor and adventure across time
Cons Some plot threads only work if you've seen Part 2

Since Back to the Future 2 and Back to the Future 3 were filmed back to back, it's not that surprising that part 2 ends with a cliffhanger.  Part 3 literally picks up as the second one ends and takes the story in a fun new direction.

At the end of the second movie, Marty McFly (Michael... Read full review »

This was the last movie in a three part run of movies and although I loved the movie, I was left, after watching it, wondering why they didn't make more like these! I'm usually not one that likes sequels but I can honestly say that I think they were all done up pretty good.

Doc Brown Tackles Love While Marty Conquers the West in Back to the Future III

Cons Marty's got some kind of weird ancestry...

I’ve long loved the first two Back to the Future movies, but I never got around to the third until recently. I’d heard from some that it wasn’t quite up to snuff, but I found it an enjoyable romp.

Unlike the dizzying second installment, Back to the Future III is mostly... Read full review »

Back to the Future Part III [VHS]

Shot back-to-back with Back to the Future II, this final chapter in the series is less hectic than that film and has the same sweet spirit of the first, albeit in a whole new setting. This time, Michael J. Fox's character ends up in the Old West of 1885, trying to prevent the death of mad scientist Christopher Lloyd at the hands of a gunman. Director Robert Zemeckis successfully blends exciting special effects with the traditions of a Western, and comes up with something original and fun. --Tom Keogh
