Back to Basics TEM500 2-Slice Toaster

This thing is awesome!.........now. I bought one of the first Back to Basics Egg & Muffin 2-Slice toasters when they first came out. It was a great idea then and is a great idea today. However, in the beginning they had numerous quality issues from the non-stick coating peeling off the mini skillet, to the egg portion not functioning at all. Being an engineer I understand these growing pains and am not here to tell you this is a crappy product. ON the contrary, I believe I rode out the wave of their 'beta testing' phase and I believe they have things nicely buttoned up with a quality, reliable product. Their customer service was top notch too, never a problem or overbearing questioning to get anything resolved.
Now, on to the food....

Toast:
This thing makes two slices of toast perfectly to your liking; and of course the slots are big enough to easily accept an English muffin.

Hard Boiled Egg(s):
This baby supports cooking anywhere from 1 to 4 hard boiled eggs at a time; from soft and 'yolky', to yellow and firm on the inside. All it requires to do this is a small amount of water (indicated on the supplied measuring cup).

Poached Egg:
Another great feature of this toaster is the ability for it to make poached eggs. Scrambled or unscrambled, all it requires is the egg and a small amount of water (indicated on the supplied measuring cup).

Egg & English Muffin sandwich:
Simply put your English muffins in the toaster, setup your poached egg preference, hit the 'Egg/Toast' button, and start toasting. The toaster holds the English muffins until the eggs are done cooking! Oh, and there is also a rack that will warm up your Canadian bacon and cheese at the same time, if desired.
