The Xmas Gift That Keeps On Giving

For those of you that like smoothies this is a no brainer. For others you won't believe all this machine can make.
I have to admit I am not Smoothie kind of guy. I have never ordered a smoothie while out or even tried one at a friend's house. This smoothie maker was a gift last xmas. I was neither thrilled nor upset by the gift but I was intrigued at the possibilities.
The next gift I opened was a bottle of rum and pina colada mix. Now I'm thinking if the next gift is a bag of ice I am in business. Although I am not a big drinker I certainly do indulge from time to time. Now I can do it in style.
The Smoothie elite has a great feature that blenders just don't offer. A convenient pour spout tap that is located right in the front of the smoothie machine. This works well because if you have ever made a mixed drink in a standard blender you probably figured out that as soon as you stop mixing the drink the alchohol and the rest of the drink separate. This usually ends up with one drink getting the majority of the liquor. With the Smoothie elite the drink isn't done mixing until the glasses are full.
Not just for parties the smoothie elite has introduced me to a world quick yet healthy breakfasts. Oranges and bananas with a little milk and ice make a wonderful morning treat for the kids. Especially on those days that cooking just can't find a space in your schedule. Not only are the kids having something for breakfast it is actually something good for them. The drink container clearly states how much liquid and ice to include in the drink. So even in the early morning you won't have to think to hard.
Of course you can make wonderful treats that aren't healthy too. Some of my favorites are iced coffee, milkshakes, and a blended banana split. I'm sure with a little imagination anyone can come up with great combinations that will tickle your taste buds.
