Smoothie Maker: Back to Basics Does the Job for Less

The Bottom Line:
I recommend this smoothie maker.
For a few years, my friends and colleagues were accusing me of marketing for Back to Basics because I used it so frequently and spoke so highly of it that they thought I was being paid. I'm not. I just love this product.
The first one I purchased was for personal use about 5 years ago. I used it every day to make original creations that were healthier than pre-packaged drinks (like strawberry smoothies with flax seed). I remember that it was kind of difficult for me to find the company's contact information when my spout broke, but when I did, they sent a replacement part quickly and without any cost to me.
I purchased 2 more after that and noticed that the later models poured and stirred more easily. These two I used in a fundraising coffee house, and though we used them often, they proved very durable. All three of the machines are an outstanding value for the money spent! They make tremendous smoothies. The only down side is that they are a little bit difficult to put back together after taking them apart to wash. I always get impatient and ask my husband to do it since he works with parts and is good at placing the seals in just right. Overall, these are well worth the price and pay for themselves with 5 drinks (compared to coffee house prices). They are a hit for summer party guests!
