Great blender, I use it all the time!

Pros Never leaves chunks, lots of accessories, great price
Cons Hard to clean, are sparks normal?
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  If you don't mind handwashing your blender and don't pay the typical $50 price tag, this is truly a good, heavy-duty model and a great buy.
I bought this blender from the place where I work about 3 months ago, and use it about twice a week. It never has a single problem with blending and getting all the chunks out, even when I put in almost all frozen, no lukewarm fruit. The GE model I had before couldn't even hold a candle to the consistency of smoothie that this blender makes for me. Plus, the price I got was unheard of. Thank goodness for employee discounts!

I've looked in the back room of my work to see how many of the 24 Smoothie Elites or so that we had in stock have been returned- I have only seen one, as well as one other Back to Basics smoothie machine of another name.

Before reading any further, it should be noted that my employer, where I bought the Smoothie Elite, sells *tons* of refurbished appliances, so this one might have uncommon problems.

I only have two minor complaints: a)it's annoying to clean, and the manual tells you to wash everything by hand, which makes it worse; and b)sometimes, when blending, I see blue sparks coming out of the blender, through the button holes. My boyfriend claims that's normal, but it still scares me :)

Anyway, I still love it!
