Back to Basics Smoothie Elite Blender

It seemed like a nice idea at the time. Since smoothies are the main reason for me to have a blender, one that specializes in smoothies seemed perfect. The execution isn't quite as nice. Making thick smoothies worked ok, the plunger is helpful in getting the ingredients to turnover - BUT, a thick smoothie doesn't dispense well through the spout. Furthermore the jar isn't dishwasher safe. After trying several times to thouroghly clean the spout and not getting it very clean, I decided to run it through the dishwasher. After several washings, the handle of the spout fell off. Not feeling that this machine was very hygenic, I replaced it after a few months.
