Well Worth the Money!
I bought this DVD for my 3 year old daughter when she was about a year old. She loved it, and watched it at home and in the car. It is a great addition to a child's DVD library.

Excellent movie

Great creative movie for babies
I bought the Baby Einstein: Baby Mcdonald for my children because I love baby einstein. This movie is creative (like all the other Baby Einstein movies), keeps my kids attention, and provides great background music for me while I clean or what-not while my kids are watching this movie. I would give it more stars, but it would hurt
My daughter LOVES this DVD. She watches, dances, and makes the animal noises along with the program. For adults, it's mind-numbingly painful, and since I try to always watch with my child, this was rough! If you have no such house rule, your toddler will probably love this! Read full review »

Baby Macdonald
My 18 month old showed only limited interest in television. Out of desparation one night I rented Baby MacDonald to see if she would take to these videos at all. She did. So much that we went out and bought the whole set of 15 at Costco (great deal for only $150 CDN).

The beauty of this entry in the Baby Einstein catalog is its integration of puppets, toys, and live farm footage to help babies and toddlers make the connection between their plastic play sets and stuffed animals with images of a real farm. As always, the spoken language is minimal, omitting the pesky verbs and adjectives that would confuse the very young. The 30-minute main program is divided into sections: barns and equipment, animals, planting crops, and harvesting. Background music ranges from "Old MacDonald" to Schumann, and DVD extras include a 6-minute puppet show and visual "discovery cards" identifying animals and farm paraphernalia with a single word.
