Not a great Trend to start

Pros Folds down quickly, easily and compactly into its own carry bag.
Cons Material can be shoddy and troublesome.
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  Would be recommended for the infrequent carry of a child, but not sturdy enough for a backpacking enthusiast.
We purchased this for hiking and for travel with our toddler son. The weight limit is 40 lbs. but we noticed that with him (not quite 30 lbs)that the threads at the seam of the shoulder strap began to pull away after several uses. We returned that particular one for the same exact model and have not had any troubles (although we did hear that many had been returned for the same reason).

My son rides high enough to see what is going on and feels like he is part of the crowd. When we went to Disney this last week he was able to stay high and dry, far away from the large puddles.

We have the rain/sun cover, but it really doesn't do MUCH in the way of helping, to be honest, because of it's design. Many other carriers have better covers and materials.

The frame itself is great since it does collapse easily and fold into its own carry bag. That feature we really do love! It's not too adjustable (I'm 5'2" and my husband 6'3") for heights, so a shorter person will have the waist strap and bottom of the carrier low on the hips/back. We've tried some models from other brands and found them to be much more comfortable to wear!

I would recommend this to someone who was infrequently wants to use a carrier for their child, but not the true outdoor enthusiast who will be toting their kiddo on their backs!
