When we were buying this product we were in school and didn't want to spend too much money on a high chair. But then of course you want the best for your firstborn. So, I did my research on the web and decided that according to the reviews it was the best deal around. After looking at a number of chairs at Babierus I made up my mind that this was the best and 15 months later I am even more convinced that there isn't anything better.
It is very comfortable for the baby. Since it is made to last for a couple of years, we do have to put a little pillow on the seat to keep our son above the tray, but that is about its only inconvenience.
It is very secure. It has a five-point harness system plus a tall sturdy barrier that goes between the baby's legs. So, even the wiggliest of them all couldn't wiggle out of it. We have never used the shoulder straps and it is still the safest I can imagine. My son have set in other two kinds of chairs while we traveled and he manages to get out of those but he is so comfortable in the one we have that he even likes to stay after meals and play with his toys on a tray.
It also has a very sturdy construction so no matter how much the baby turns and plays and even accidentally pushes away from things it will not fall. It has wheels so is easily moved around the kitchen or anywhere you desire. It makes for safe and comfortable observation point for our son as I cook and wash the dishes, he also likes to sit in it and look out the window.
There are many handy features like a reclining seat that we have used when our son was still about 7-8 months. The seat itself also moves up and down which comes handy now when we can adjust the height of his chair to the height of the table that we share as a family. That way he can just sit at the same table with us for convenient feeding of just to feel a part of whatever is going on.
We are expecting another child shortly and I am very excited to him to try it out in his own time. After about 10 months of continuous use it still looks like new. The seat cover can be wiped out easily and when it gets pretty dirty you can just throw it is the wash.
It is also a great toy for out son. Now that he is walking and likes push toys he is pushing the chair around and likes to play under it. I would be hesitant to let him do it with other chairs but this one is so sturdy and maneuvers so easily even a child can move it without much trouble and feeling safe for his life.
