Pros Jet Air Threading, Cover Lock and Overlock serger in a single unit.
Cons Expensive.
Recommended it? Yes

In my opinion, the Baby Lock Evolve is by far the best serger on the market. This is an 8-thread machine. I have a Kenmore conventional sewing machine, but I found that I wanted a machine that would also serge and overlock my seams. A serger was my answer.

I started researching sergers... Read full review »

I want you to know that I had just purchased a Bernina 1100DA Serger to replace my Pfaff serger, when I saw this Babylock demonstrated. I used it for myself and then just bought it!
I love it!
It is without question the easiest coverstitch serger I've ever used. It is easy to thread. The... Read full review »

This is my second Babylock and I've never really had a complaint (I replaced the first one because it was 10 yrs old and I wanted the new features. It's still working well for someone in another state)about any Babylock product. I've got a great dealer who gives me excellent product support and... Read full review »

Cons none - so far

The Babylock Evolve serger is, in my opinion, the best serger on the market. Despite it's 8 thread intimidating appearance, it's unbelievably easy to use. To set up all 8 threads and 5 needles it took me less than 5 minutes on the first try.

The auto-threading system is state of art. Even... Read full review »

Awesome serger!

This serger has jet air threading, meaning the thread is entered into thread ports, and jets of air suck it through the loopers, threading it instantly! There are no tension dials, as selecting a stitch is a simple as turning the stitch selector to either A, B, C, or D... Read full review »

I bought another machine, just because I had always owned that brand. Than I tried the Evolve, once I did I knew I had to own it. I sold the machine I had, and was able to buy this machine for the amount I had sold the other for! What a deal. I really like the versatility of this machine, it gives... Read full review »

I originally purchased the Huskylock 910, used it for a month and just took it back today to trade it with the new Babylock Evolve. The price difference is about 70% more; however, it is worth every penny.
I fell in love with the Evolve during a store demo; however, I did not want to spend so... Read full review »

I had an Elna 4proDE serger for a number of years and wanted to upgrade to a serger with cover stitch. I had used a friend's Elna with cover stitch and had planned to just buy that one. Fortunately, the store was out of stock the day I went to purchase. I decided to take some time and test drive... Read full review »
