not so sure

Pros a breeze to maneuver, looks sharp, sun-shades, good over cracked sidewalks.
Cons can't be locked when folded, not really a one-step fold.
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  This stroller is a breeze to use and is well constructed, but it's inability to be locked while folded is a fatal flaw in my opinion!
Because the Baby Jogger City Mini Double is still new in the stroller market I'm going to submit my review admittedly before I've had a chance to put this stroller to the complete test. After one month of use, I'm not so sure this is the stroller of my dreams, but because of the steep price, I'm definitely going to be using it for awhile!

After several months of double stroller research we selected this baby jogger to be used primarily for walks around our neighborhood (which has super bumpy sidewalks) and secondarily for trips around town that require a lot of getting in & out of the car, additionally we planned for this to be our only double stroller for our kids, 15 months & 2 months.

Things we LOVE about this stroller--
It looks very sharp. The sunshades are unbelievable with great protection! This stroller pushes like a dream, it is very smooth, has a tight turning radius, and can be pushed literally with one finger even if there is only one kiddo in the stroller which is great because i usually do end up carrying at least one little one at some point during the stroller excursion. The basket underneath isn't real deep, but it is ONE larger basket, instead of 2 separate that many side-by-side doubles have.

Things I'm not crazy about..

While it has 2 large pockets on the back of each stroller seat, I'd prefer a smaller pocket on the back of the hood that is concealed and has a zippered closure for things such as keys & my wallet. The 2 large pockets on the back of each seat are mesh, which is nice to see what you've got, since they are so deep (maybe 12 inches), but I didn't quite like the world seeing where my wallet was the whole time I was shopping. The greater problem we ran into was that when you fold the stroller & lift it, these pockets are hanging upside down and anything left in them will fall out. The first time I did this, it was my cell phone that can tumbling down, the second time, my wallet--which I didn't notice, but some kind soul returned to me.

The thing I absolutely HATE...
this stroller does not lock when it's folded. I knew this before I purchased it, and other owners assured me it wasn't a big deal, but it drives me nuts! When it's folded in the house, my 15 month old is going to climb on it, of course, or attempt to spin the wheels or something--and it always unfolds & crashes to the floor.

The fold is fairly flat, but still feels huge compared to the single combi stroller we were used to. However, because it can't lock closed I have to lay it down in the back of my minivan or else as I'm driving it will open up on its own. Because it's always laying flat (and i can't keep it in the house) it takes up way more room in the back of my vehicle than I think it ought. Plus, it should be said that without a lock it'd be interesting to gate check this stroller at the airport, b/c if they pick up on anything aside from the actual strap, it will pop open on them.

A few more notes--
When I've had it in the house (and locked open, as well as the brakes set) my son can easily climb in and out, but if he stands in the seat it acts rather tippy. It hasn't tipped over on him yet--but I've always been right there. This isn't a big deal to me since kids shouldn't really be standing in their stroller anyway.

The seats do recline a little even in the upright position, we purchased the belly bar to allow our son to sit more upright by removing the shoulder straps of the restraint.

The seats have a drawstring type release for reclining, which works fairly well--it still took me 2 hands, but I imagine it will become more smooth with use.

When the seats are fully reclined the back (near baby's head & parents legs (if that helps explain any) is a large piece of mesh for ventilation. It has a solid piece of fabric that can be pulled down over the mesh for cooler weather. We were out in freezing weather and the solid piece never would stay on--so poor baby was really cold in there!

And finally, on many (if not all) websites & sales promotions I read for this stroller it calls it a one-step fold. I was most unhappy when the directions explain that for proper use, it is really a 3 step unfold/fold. It has 2 safety straps underneath that should be attached/un-attached each time the stroller is unfolded or folded. Again, when I spoke with others who own this item, they all expressed that they simply never use the safety straps. I skipped it the last time I was out, and of course I felt it was safe enough--but was really unhappy that it had been called 'one step fold' when it clearly isn't.
