The Bottom Line:
If you're looking for something sturdy that will last you through older kids then this stroller is a great choice.
I've been using my city elite stroller for almost 2 years now. My daughter is 3 and weighs 40 lbs. My son will be 2 in June and weighs 25 lbs. Both kids fit comfortably into their seats and enjoy rides. The stroller is easy to push and moves smoothly over rougher terrain.
I did have some issues with one of the tires going flat, but had the tired repaired and haven't had a problem since then, so it was probably just something I ran over with it. The tires come off very easily if needing repair.
I like that it has 5 point harnesses, but the straps are really hard to adjust because they don't slide through the buckles well, but I suppose this also keeps them from loosening easily when the child is in the seat.
I like that each of my kids has their own sun visor to adjust how they want it. I also like how far down the visor comes. It seems like with many of the single strollers I've tried the visor just comes straight out over the top of them. The baby jogger visor curves and comes down farther than most to help keep more sunlight out of my babies eyes. Each child can also be reclined at different degrees, so when my son was an infant he could be nearly laying down while my daughter could be sitting straight up.
There are many pockets for storage, this is a big plus. There is not a dedicated cup holder but I've found a water bottle will fit well in the storage compartments as long as it is sealed tight, otherwise it will leak out when being pushed.
A stroller designed to be heavy duty and hold 2 children is obviously going to be heavy, so really I can't complain abou that. I used to drive a Chrysler Pacifica in which the stroller barely fit with the back seats down. I now own a mini van and have no trouble fitting it in the back with all my seats still in use.
I've taken my Baby Jogger on a few 5K's and been very pleased with it's performance.
