The Bottom Line:
The best baby investment you'll make!
The Baby Bjorn carrier is a must have for any parent with or without kids already. With my first two kids we had a Snugli carrier and we hardly ever used it because it was so uncomfortable and moved around a lot. The Baby Bjorn is so much better! We knew the price was higher, but we had only heard good things about it, so we decided to make the investment when our 3rd child was born last summer.
What a lifesaver! At that time, our 4-year old was in a full body cast, confined to a wheelchair. We also had a very energetic 2-year old. This carrier was definitely one of our best investments ever! It allowed us to hold the baby and manage both of our other kids. It was super comfortable, didn't move or slip around, and had the ease of removing a sleeping baby with little effort. The straps are lightly padded and are easy to adjust, much like in an infant car seat.
The Baby Bjorn carrier is made to work with infants up to 20ish lbs. You can hold your baby in towards you, or fold down the top front and carry your baby facing out. Our 7-month old, who weighs about 16 lbs., still can fit in it. It even washes well! Plus, it is super stylish and my husband is proud to wear it as well!
