The Bottom Line:
I would recommend this product to anyone with an infant, and especially to anyone with an infant and an older child!
I bought this product on the recommendation of a friend after my son was born. This was a lifesaver when my son was an infant. He often wanted to be held close to my body and as a new mom, that can get wearing after awhile. I used this carrier when we would go out and would be walking alot, but to bring a stroller would be cumbersome.
It does have a downside however. My son was born in late March and as such, I used it a lot in the summer. It was VERY hot for him to be carried around in. Between the heat from my body and the heat from the carrier, I would often find that he was seating a lot. I was concerned a number of times that he might overheat while in this product, so I tried to use it indoors if possible.
Also, it takes a little while to get the hang of putting the baby in and out. For the first few times I could not figure out how to snap all the buttons and keep the baby up and head supported all at the same time. Once I had done it a few times though it was not that bad.
Basically, it is a great product. Much better in the colder months as the overheating might occur in the summer.
