Babybjorn City Carrier

Pros Easy to use, comfortable
Cons Can't use while breastfeeding
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  I recommend this carrier for its ease of use and comfort.
I highly recommend the Babybjorn. I don't know what I would have done without it when my son was an infant. I put him in it for the first time when he was probably about 1 month old. It did take me a few tries (and the help of my husband) to get it on and him in it. But once I got the hang of it, I could put it on in probably 15 seconds. I was curious about other baby carriers (slings, etc.), but never got around to trying any because the Bjorn fit my needs so well. My son loved it from the very beginning. He loved being close to me when he was tiny and loved seeing what I was doing when he got a little older. He almost always fell asleep in it, so it was easy to get things done around the house. One disadvantage this carrier has to a sling (or at least some of them), is that it's impossible to breastfeed while wearing it. That wasn't a huge deal for me, but it would have been nice to have that as an option when out and about. Another con is that it's almost impossible (for me anyway) to get a sleeping baby out of it while keeping the baby asleep. It would have been so nice to wear my son to sleep and then lay him in his crib for the rest of his nap. Instead, I had to wear him until he woke up. Not a big deal when he was little, but when he got bigger he was heavy! Overall, I loved the Babybjorn and I used it probably every day until my son exceeded the weight limit. The straps are nicely padded and the carrier is quite comfortable. It did hurt my back a little when my son started getting bigger, but it was very minor and worth skipping the hassle of a stroller. It never showed any wear and tear whatsoever and the drool from my son washed right out in the washing machine. It still looks brand new and I can't wait to use it with my next baby.
