The Bottom Line:
I highly recommend this baby carrier; it was one of the best purchases we made!
This carrier was extremely helpful when my son was an infant. I was told by a few friends not to waste money on a carrier, but I still believe it was one of the best purchases we made.
Our son hated his car seat from the day he was born, so we never had the luxury of transporting him in his infant carrier car seat. The Baby Bjorn was with us every time we left the house, and I used it every time we went shopping.
He also had colic and the only time he was happy was when he was being carried around close to us. He would sleep peacefully in the carrier and I could get a few things done around the house.
It takes a few tries to learn how to adjust it to fit you perfectly, but it's really pretty simple to use. It adjusts nicely to fit different body types as well. My husband and I switched back and forth between us all the time.
I have back problems, but I was able to use this carrier without causing me any pain until our son reached the carrier's weight limit of 26 pounds because the back support is great.
We didn't experience any problems with being overly hot while using this carrier. We even bought the cover that goes over the baby for chilly evening walks.
The only problem I came across is when trying to use it while breastfeeding. The instruction manual said that it could be used, but I could never figure it out.
