I have gone through potty training 1 boy and 2 girls and have tried several potty chairs on the market. I can count more than 5 different brands that I have purchased and I finally settled on Baby Bjorn as the best. It is the easiest one to clean. Unlike other potty chairs there are not a lot of cracks and crevices and the only removable part is the inner bowl where the waste goes. It has a very streamlined design and the surface is all plastic so it is easy to clean. Other potties have hinged lids and foam seats that are covered in plastic that can get punctured and soiled. The complicated design of other potties that I have tried made them difficult to clean. This potty has a guard area for boys that is part of the emptying bowl so they can't break it off and throw it in the toilet as boys usually do. It is exactly the right height and allows for the child to be in the best seated position for going pee and poo. They also have a potty seat that fits on the regular toilet that works well too. It can adjust to any size toilet seat. Don't waste your money on fancy potty training seats with songs, bells, and whistles... they are too distracting anyway. Take it from me after trying so many other brands, that the simple easy to clean design of the Baby Bjorn potty seat is the best out there. They also carry a contoured design for babyies who can't sit up yet if you are someone who is trying "infant potty training". It's just a really great company all around.
