The Bottom Line: I recommend to buy this racquet if you have a heavy top spinning game that requires control with the added benefit of a larger head.

I have been a wilson fan for years and have not updated my equipment purely because I did not feel I needed to. Why fix something that is not broken? That was the theory anyway.

While on holiday in Hong Kong recently I walked into a tennis shop and thought I would give this racquet a go as my favourite player (Rafa) has had so much success with it...fingers crossed.

So I lined up for pennants a couple of weeks later (never played with it before!) and I quickly discovered the advancement in technology compared to my old wilson. The racquet head speed is unbelievable and for a large head (100 sq inches) I felt that the control was also amazing. Being a heavy topspinning player I need control and I felt the Aeropro delivered. I won that match with ease and it was not because my opponent played badly...I genuinely blew him off the court with winners and heavy topspin.

One thing that was most evident with the Aeropro was the lack of rattle in the frame when hitting the ball. It is a solid frame that is clearly designed for heavy hitting scenarios. It holds up very well.

I can honestly never see myself going back to my wilson racquets after playing with this Babolat for a few months now. I just wish i had changed earlier and kept up to date with technology

Now I am cursing myself for not buying 2 of them!
