KLH BTF220 Main / Stereo Speaker

I was looking for a set of bookshelf speakers for a new home office. I found that low cost speakers these days are much more limited than what use to be available. I found these KLH BTF220 speakers at my local Fry's electronics.

The speakers were marked as $79 a pair and I thought that was about right for their size so I took a pair to the register. Turns out they rang up at just $39, The cashier said they were currently on sale.

I took them home and hooked them up to a 20 year old 200 watt stereo, these things sounded pretty darn good. No deep bass but it was better than I expected for a 6 1/2" speaker.

I was impressed enough that I went back 2 days later and bought another pair for myself and 2 pairs for a friend.

These would be good speakers at the $79 but at the $39 they were a steal!!
