pretty amazing, but not flawless

Pros compact, lightweight, quiet, variable suction, onboard attachments, looks great!
Cons poor system to connect attachments to handle
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  It's a great little vacuum with a good filtration system and some nice features. I can't speak for long-term durability (yet) though.
This is the first new vacuum I have ever purchased (I married into and older hoover canister vac that is probably close to 15 years old now).
I comparison shopped around, wanted to get a Miele, but didn't want to pay what they cost, and started to read good things about the Bosch vacuums.

Right out of the box this is super cute and stylish (I have the dark orange color), simple to put together, and the attachment tools are conveniently located under a little door on the body. It's lightweight (about 12lbs) and easy to carry up+down stairs (2 carrying handles too). The handle "telescopes" in and out so you can adjust the length to one that is comfortable.

When running it is so quiet - at least compared to my old vacuum! It just whirs softly. Suction seems perfectly adequate - but we only have hardwood floors and some short pile rugs. Don't know how it would be on deeper pile carpets. The feature that really amazes me is the variable suction - neat! You can turn it way down when doing curtains or throw rugs. There is one slider on the vacuum body to adjust suction, and one on the suction head that you can set to either short pile or deep pile (for carpet). It stands up on it's end for compact storage. I have not attempted to change the bags or filter yet, so don't know how tricky that will be, but looking inside the vacuum body, looks pretty straightforward. It has a HEPA filter too, which is nice.

My only complaint so far is the way the handle/vac head assemble together. You just push 2 tubes together (one a little narrower than the other) and hope they hold. The don't "click" together, or have a latch to hold them together. Today while using it, the head just plopped off the handle. I had to stop and push it back on. I'm hesitant to push it on TOO hard for fear it'll be hard to wrench off when I want to put a different attachment on.

All in all, quite nice though. I hope it holds up as long as my old Hoover.
