Our other vacuum cleaner is a very old self-propelled Hoover upright that really doesn't perform well under furniture. pretty amazing, but not flawless
This is the first new vacuum I have ever purchased (I married into and older hoover canister vac that is probably close to 15 years old now).
I comparison shopped around, wanted to get a Miele, but didn't want to pay what they cost, and started to read good things about the Bosch vacuums.
