1996 BMW 7 Series

The 1996 BMW 7 Series is available in two models -- 740iL and 750iL sedans. New for 1996, all 7 Series sedans replaces the standard steel sunroof with a glass panel and an interior motion detector becomes standard. Standard features on the 740iL include a 4.4-liter V-8 engine, automatic day/night mirrors and heated side mirrors. Safety features include side impact door protection and impact sensor. Standard security features consist of a central locking system with locking trunk and fuel door and a driveaway theft protection system that prevents the engine from starting when doors are locked. The 750iL upgrades the 740iL with heated front and rear seats,integrated self learning garage door opener and high-pressure headlight cleaning system.
