KitchenAid BCG100 Electric Blades Grinder

I got one of these a year ago. It replaced a 10 year old Krups grinder that had broken when the cover was dropped. This KitchenAid model is a decent model for the price. There are more expensive burr grinders that in theory, do a better job. But I find that this unit does a fairly decent job without burning the beans from friction like my previous model did.

This unit is better than the higher priced Cuisinart Automatic Burr Coffee Grinder, which I almost bought. A friend of mine bought the Cuisinart model and regrets this because it makes a total mess every time you go to remove the ground coffee bin. I'm happy with this KitchenAid model!
